CMYK Conversion Settings
These are the settings we use when converting images from RGB to CMYK in Photoshop
for SWOP coated jobs. If you are printing to newsprint, reduce the Total Ink Limit
to between 245% - 265%. We strongly encourage you to familiarize yourself with Color
Management in order to correctly maintain the color fidelity of your images.
Photoshop 5
UnStuff the file, boot up Photoshop 5.x and go to File: Color Settings: CMYK Setup...,
then press "Load..." and browse for the settings file you just downloaded.
Photoshop 6
UnStuff the file, boot up Photoshop 6 and go to Edit: Color Settings, then press
"Load..." and browse for the settings file you just downloaded.
Photoshop 7
UnStuff the file, boot up Photoshop 7 and go to Color Settings, then press "Load..."
and browse for the settings file you just downloaded.
Photoshop CS
UnStuff the file, boot up Photoshop CS and go to Color Settings in the "Photoshop"
menu, then press "Load..." and browse for the settings file you just downloaded.
Photoshop CS2
UnStuff the file, boot up Photoshop CS2 and go to Color Settings in the "Photoshop"
menu, then press "Load..." and browse for the settings file you just downloaded.
